Correia had featured for the Bluebirds in their midweek win over another League Two outfit, Carlisle United, and has signed a one-year deal, with a one-year option.

The 25-year-old Portuguese forward joins after being released by League One Blackpool.

He signed an eighteen-month deal with the Seasiders in January 2017 having arrived for an undisclosed fee from Radcliffe Borough.

Correia struck 11 goals in 22 games for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League North outfit following an earlier spell with Chorley.

He made his Blackpool debut in an EFL Trophy defeat to Shrewsbury Town, and previously had an eleven-game and single-goal loan stay at then-National League outfit Guiseley AFC before having another loan spell in the National League North with York City last season, making 10 appearances with one goal.
