Burton Takes Northern Star Helm
Uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division strugglers Peterborough Northern Star have appointed Lloyd Burton as their new manager.

Burton becomes Northern Star`s third manager of the season to date.

 

He takes over from Dwayne Rankin, who was promoted from reserve team boss in late August following the departure of previous manager Scott Goodwin after an acrimonious fall-out with Star co-owner Scott Steward.

 

Having previously been with Northern Star as reserve team boss, Burton stepped down as manager of Pitching In Southern League Division One Central side Yaxley`s reserve side in June to joined UCL Division One outfit Blackstones as assistant manager to Mark Baines.
