The
29-year-old signed for the Purps` league rivals Runcorn Linnets in October
2016.
The
Liverpool-born midfielder spent two years on professional forms at Blackburn
Rovers.
He
joined them in 2010, after coming through the youth ranks at Southport to make
the first team at Haig Avenue.
While
at Ewood Park, he had loan spells with Morecambe and Macclesfield Town –
re-joining Southport, also on a temporary basis, in between.
On
his release by Blackburn in summer 2012, he again returned to Southport on
trial but subsequently moved to Warrington Town.
He
later played for Northwich Victoria and in the North West Counties League for
Ashton Town.
Due
to injury, he missed all but the first four games of the Linnets title winning
NWCL campaign in 2017/18 and was out for 14 months. |
