Striker Returns to Colls
Atherton Collieries have announced that striker Louis Myers has returned from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Hyde United.

Myers, who turns 23 next Monday, joined Hyde in July from another NPL Premier Division rival, FC United of Manchester.

 

He had signed for the Reds from Radcliffe in February 2019 and featured in the last eight games of the season and scored his first goal for the club away at Alfreton Town in April.

 

He was brought up, and still lives in Moston, and began his career playing for Moston Juniors and Northside JFC and attended Failsworth High School.

 

He had spells with Blackburn Rovers, Rochdale, Fleetwood, Chorley, before joining Radcliffe in January 2018.

 

Myers made his initial Colls debut on loan on Boxing Day 2019, going on to score 4 goals in 9 appearances before the 2019/20 season was curtailed.
