The
experienced 36-year-old Hood has made almost 300 appearances for Vanarama National
League North side Leamington.
The
popular central defender has had two spells, having left to spend two seasons
with Barwell after the Brakes` Southern League title win in 2013. He returned
in the summer of 2015.
Starting
his career in his hometown of Nuneaton with Borough and then Griff, he went on
to appear for Bedworth United, Gresley Rovers, Sutton Coldfield Town, Hinckley
United, Atherstone and Halesowen Town before first linking up with Brakes in
September 2010.
Gudger (pictured),
28, joins from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central neighbours
Nuneaton Borough.
He
joined Boro in June 2020 from Leamington, for who he made 194 appearances in
his five years with the Brakes after joining from Worcester City in February
2015.
Getting
his first taste of non-League football in a loan spell at Hinckley United as a
youngster while at Coventry City, he then joined Tamworth, then in the National
League, and spent 3 years there, with further time on loan at Hinckley and also
Cambridge City. |
