The
22-year-old has enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Magpies this season,
notably scoring important goals in the Emirates FA Cup.
Hall
returned to Woking in August 2020, signing a permanent deal for 2020/21
following his release by League Two side Bolton Wanderers.
He
previously enjoyed a short loan spell at the Laithwaite Community Stadium back
in the 2016/17 season, scoring once in 8 appearances.
He
began his senior career at Sheffield United, emerging from the club’s academy
in 2016 and enjoying several profitable loan spells, netting 24 goals in just
26 games for Northern Premier League Division One South East side Sheffield FC
and NPL Premier Division outfit Mickleover Sports respectively, before
finishing the campaign at Woking. Following his release by the Blades he joined
then-Championship club Bolton Wanderers.
Whilst
first-team opportunities were limited, he shone in the Trotters` under-23 side,
scoring 22 times in his debut season, and winning the club’s young player of
the year award.
He
was also handed his Bolton debut in an FA Cup defeat to Huddersfield Town.
The
following campaign he spent time on loan at League One side Accrington Stanley,
scoring twice in 17 games, with both goals coming in the EFL Trophy.
During
the shortened 2019/20 season he found himself on the fringes of the Bolton
squad, making his league debut in January, before finishing the campaign with
National League strugglers Chorley, where he scored 3 goals in just 6 games and
ended the year as the club’s fourth top scorer. |
