Watson Handed Billericay Post

Vanarama National League South club Billericay Town have announced the appointment of Kevin Watson as their new manager with immediate effect.

Watson brings a wealth of playing, coaching and managerial experience to the club, most recently with league rivals Ebbsfleet United, where he left May 2020.

Watson joined the Stonebridge Road outfit as assistant to Garry Hill in October 2019, taking control as interim manager after two matches on Hill’s departure.

A midfielder with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Swindon Town, Rotherham United and Colchester United, with around 400 League games to his name, he started out in management with Maldon & Tiptree in 2015.

He was then assistant manager at Stevenage, Eastleigh and Whitehawk before taking on the managerial post at Bishop`s Stortford in 2017.

He was an assistant again at Hungerford Town in 2018/19 before joining Ebbsfleet.
