Clitheroe Boss Helps Out Mariners
Clitheroe player-manager David Lynch has bolstered Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One North West rivals Marine AFC`s squad ahead of their massive Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie against Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur.

The vastly experienced 27-year-old midfielder has transferred his playing registration whilst he is unable to play in the league to help out the Mariners.

 

Lynch became player-manager at Clitheroe in May 2020.

 

He started his career at Burnley and has featured at Clitheroe, Altrincham and FC Halifax Town.

 

He played 31 times for the Shaymen, including 13 appearances in the National League during the 2017/18 campaign.

 

He moved to Southport in November 2017 for an undisclosed fee, where made 43 appearances.

 

He joined Alfreton Town from National League North rivals Southport for an undisclosed fee in October 2018.
