Richards-Everton
moves to The Hive London with a vast amount of experience in the EFL, where he
made close to 100 appearances between spells with Bradford City and Accrington
Stanley.
Originally
with Carlisle United, he went on to have spells with Romulus, Cradley Town,
Hinckley United and Tamworth before going `north of the border` with Partick
Thistle and Dunfermline Athletic.
The
Bees have signed the powerful centre-half after the Bantams released his
contract Monday.
It
signals another move in the market for the Bees, as the club continue to invest
in bringing experienced players to help Tim Flowers turn the season around.
Richards-Everton
signs on a contract with the club which will last until at least the end of the
2022/23 season with an option of a further year included in the deal.
At
6`5” tall, the Midlands born defender fits the bill for the type of player Flowers
is looking for to shore up the defence in the crucial upcoming matches.
This
addition adds to the height and power already brought in so far this month,
with the recent arrival of former Solihull Moors defender Liam Daly.
Richards-Everton
has also spent time playing in Scotland, having previously made a name for
himself playing in non-League football in England.
Flowers
will be hoping that the height, power and experience of the 29-year-old will
play a pivotal part in the club`s turnaround from a poor start to the season.
