The 24-year-old has signed a deal with the Pilgrims after training with the club as he battled back from a hamstring injury.

Wright enjoyed two successful loan spells at the Jakemans Stadium from league rivals York City and became a free agent in the summer.

Wright re-joined York on a two-year deal in June 2018 after leaving neighbours Harrogate Town.

He previously played for York during the 2016/17 season, making 7 appearances on loan from Sheffield United.

He also played on loan for Southport and Gateshead before joining Harrogate, initially on loan, in September 2017.

He completed a permanent transfer to Harrogate in March 2018 but rejected the opportunity to extend his stay in summer 2018.
