The experienced 32-year-old signed for Newark last summer after a spell with NPL Premier Division side Gainsborough Trinity.

The central defender moved to the Northolme following a second spell with Stamford`s league rivals and neighbours Spalding United.

He had re-joined the Tulips for the 2013/14 season from Boston United where he was a member of the successful Lincolnshire Shield winning side.

He ended his debut season for Tulips with a number of club awards, being voted the managers`, players` and supporters` player of the year trophies.

He also played in the British Universities Championship series for Notts Trent and won the Bucks National Cup.

Among his other clubs are Bourne Town and Hucknall Town.

At the end of the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons he was voted into the NPL First Division South team of the year.
