Tigers Midfielder Duals With Lions
Vanarama National League North club Guiseley AFC have crossed the Pennines again to sign of Liam Tongue on a dual registration with Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division side Hyde United.

With play temporarily suspended at Step 3 and below due to Covid-19, the Tigers are happy for their players to get game time with other clubs.

 

The midfielder has played 45 times for Hyde since joining in the summer of 2019 and has scored 16 goals and got 10 assists in that time too.

 

A Tameside lad, he become a fans favourite at Ewen Fields.

 

He started his career at Stockport Georgians, before joining Cheadle Town where he won the players` player of the year award in 2016.

 

He has also had spells with Mossley AFC, Marine and Stalybridge Celtic.
