The
6`3” striker arrives on Tyneside having most recently spent time with National
League side Altrincham since just before Christmas.
The
28-year-old worked his way up through the leagues scoring goals as he
progressed with Nuneaton Griff in the Midland Combination, Bedworth United in
the Southern League Midland Division and Leamington in the Premier Division of
the same competition before signing for Leicester City in the summer of 2012.
He
spent four seasons with City without making a first team appearance but went
out on loan to gain experience with Burton Albion, Notts County, Northampton
Town in two spells and Burton Albion.
He
scored once in a five-game spell with Cambridge United in August 2015 before
scoring 3 times in 8 games for Blackpool from March 2016.
In
the summer of 2016, he joined Motherwell of the Scottish Premiership and made 9
appearances for them before leaving Fir Park.
He
joined then-National League club Barrow AFC in June 2018 and a year later,
signed for then-League Two club Macclesfield Town on a one-year contract.
After
the Silkmen`s sad demise, he eventually joined neighbours Altrincham. |
