Hey
returned to where it all started for him as a youth team player –Brighouse - in
May 2020.
Originally
with Brighouse and then Liversedge, Halifax Irish and Emley AFC, he scored 40
goals in the 2016/17 season for Campion in the Northern Counties East League
Division One and then 22 goals in the 2018/19 season for Pontefract, before
breaking his tibia in April 2019 but was still named in the NPL team of the
year last season.
After
six months out of action, he dropped down to the NCEL Premier Division to play
for Eccleshill United, scoring the winner on his debut against Thackley.
He
joined Brighouse`s league rivals Colne in December 2019 and then made the move
to Brighouse.
