The
22-year-old box-to-box midfielder made 81 appearances for the Millers since
breaking into the first team in 2018, scoring 16 goals.
Basford
manager Steve Chettle told https://www.basfordunited.com: “Ollie is a highly
talented player that we have been aware of since his breakthrough into the
Carlton Town first team three seasons ago.
“He
is a high energy, central midfielder that has an eye for a goal. His experience
at playing in the very competitive non-league format from an early age and
flourishing at that level is something that is extremely important. He is the
right fit for our Football Club and we look forward to what the future will
bring for Ollie.”
Clark
is Basford’s first signing since the Northern Premier League season was once
again curtailed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
They
were sat in second in the table, three points behind leaders Mickleover, when
the season was brought to a halt.
As
part of the deal, both clubs have announced a partnership for the 2021/22
campaign where Town will have the right to a first option of any available loan
players leaving Greenwich Avenue.
