Warrington’s
season is unlikely to resume due to their non-professional status but there is
a hope the Cymru Premier will resume soon due to its top-flight status.
Defenders
Evan Gumbs (pictured) and Eddie Clarke are both joining having formerly been a part of
Tranmere Rovers’ academy.
Gumbs,
has two appearances in the Vanarama National League for Tranmere, but spent
time on loan at Burscough, Salford City and Trafford.
He
has been playing for Warrington since his release from Tranmere in 2020.
Clarke
also began his senior career with Tranmere. He had one season in the National
League before being snapped up by Fleetwood Town.
He
made just two appearances for in League One but had loan spells at Macclesfield
Town and Stockport County.
Midfielder Mitch Duggan is also formerly of
Tranmere and can operate as a midfielder and as a wing-back.
The 23-year-old made
16 appearances for Tranmere over the space of four years and had loan spells at
Marine and then Warrington, before signing permanently with the Yellows.
Completing
Flint’s transfer activity is forward striker Jordan Buckley.
Buckley
has experience in the English non-League scene with FC United of Manchester and
Irlam before signing for Warrington in January 2020. |
