Defender
Jack Evans arrives on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two neighbours Forest
Green Rovers.
The
20-year-old, who plays predominantly at left back but can also operate in
midfield, joins after a recent loan spell in the National League South with
promotion-chasing Hungerford Town.
Originally
from the North West, Evans started his career with Blackburn Rovers and after a
loan stint with Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit
Lancaster City he made the switch south to Nailsworth in a permanent deal last
summer.
City
have also signed Gold Omotayo (pictured) after impressing in trial following his release
from National League side FC Halifax Town.
The
27-year-old had a short spell with the Shaymen earlier this season having
joined from league rivals Yeovil Town.
He
signed for Yeovil Town in late August 2019 from the sadly now defunct Bury.
The
Swiss-born forward started his career with FC Zurich in his home country.
He
had further spells with FC Schlieren and Wettswil-Bonstetten before heading
across to England in December 2017 and signing for then-National League South
outfit Whitehawk.
Notching
an impressive 11 goals in 16 appearances for the Hawks, he earned a trial and
eventual contract in July 2018 with the Shakers.
He
spent a month on loan with Maidstone United last season and left Bury having
made 13 appearances, scoring one goal. |
