Defender Jack Evans arrives on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two neighbours Forest Green Rovers.

The 20-year-old, who plays predominantly at left back but can also operate in midfield, joins after a recent loan spell in the National League South with promotion-chasing Hungerford Town.

Originally from the North West, Evans started his career with Blackburn Rovers and after a loan stint with Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Lancaster City he made the switch south to Nailsworth in a permanent deal last summer.

City have also signed Gold Omotayo (pictured) after impressing in trial following his release from National League side FC Halifax Town.

The 27-year-old had a short spell with the Shaymen earlier this season having joined from league rivals Yeovil Town.

He signed for Yeovil Town in late August 2019 from the sadly now defunct Bury.

The Swiss-born forward started his career with FC Zurich in his home country.

He had further spells with FC Schlieren and Wettswil-Bonstetten before heading across to England in December 2017 and signing for then-National League South outfit Whitehawk.

Notching an impressive 11 goals in 16 appearances for the Hawks, he earned a trial and eventual contract in July 2018 with the Shakers.

He spent a month on loan with Maidstone United last season and left Bury having made 13 appearances, scoring one goal.
