The 34-year-old was a free agent after leaving Edgar Street recently.

Wright is a vastly experienced centre-back who signed for Hereford in September 2020.

He made over 300 Football League appearances including spells with Oxford United, Sheffield United and Bolton Wanderers.

He made over 280 appearances for Oxford United alone during which time he helped them regain promotion back to the Football League as well as promotion to League One in 2015/26.

The year 2016 saw him move to then-League One Sheffield United where he went on to become an integral part of their promotion to the Championship in the heart of their defence, making 30 league appearances as the Blades raced to the League One title.

In 2019/20 he joined League One side Bolton Wanderers on loan until January where he made 11 appearances.
