The Rooks agreed to release Sow from his contract for an undisclosed fee after the popular midfielder spent two seasons at the Dripping Pan.

Sow started his career at Crystal Palace and spent time on loan at Finnish club Honka and Farnborough, before moving to St Albans City and then Dulwich Hamlet.

He joined the Rooks in the summer of 2016 and made 42 appearances for the last season, scoring 6 goals.

Lewes boss Darren Freeman told https://www.lewesfc.com: "Gus is a good player, but he wanted a move back closer to London. We tried to convince him to stay, but I need players here who are 100% committed and who can make it to every training session. It's going to be a tough league this season and we can't afford to have players missing sessions because of travel.

"Gus is a great lad and I want to thank him for everything he's done for us, and I wish him all the best for the future".
