The 23-year-old midfielder started out with SkyBet Championship side Coventry City as a youth player.

He then made 21 appearances between 2016 and 2019 for Walsall in League One.

However, he has been away from the game for 18 months with an ACL injury.

Kouhyar is an Afghanistan international and has made 6 appearances for his country and was the first footballer born in Afghanistan to play professionally in the UK.
