Under the leadership of chairman Phil Godfrey, the club has secured a stable financial platform which has been helped by the award of a number of grants and successful funding applications.

For the season 2021/22 the club has applied to re-join the Uhlsport Hellenic League which will see a welcome return of old and new faces to Kilkenny Lane.

Gary Brown will be the manager of the new Hellenic team and he will be assisted by Andy Zoldan and goalkeeping coach, Martin Bonner.

All three have significant experience of playing and coaching in the Hellenic and Southern Leagues which will be invaluable as they develop the new team which will made up from a blend of experienced and younger players.

Godfrey commented: "Carterton FC belongs in the Hellenic League, our facilities and stadium pitch are one of the best in the Oxfordshire. The club has been so successful in the past, it is the right time now to start the process of re-establishing Carterton as one the leading football clubs in the county."

Vice-chairman, Andrew Walton, added: "We are absolutely delighted to have Andy, Gary and Martin on board and whilst we are not expecting instant success, we know this management team will take Carterton back to where it belongs. The knock-on effect to the rest of the club is huge, especially giving Junior players a pathway into Hellenic football".
