Twenty-year-old
Henry Landers (pictured) joined Banbury for the start of season 2020/21 from North Leigh
and made 10 starts and 3 substitute appearances for the club prior to the
season being cancelled, scoring 3 goals.
A
former Oxford United youth, his eye for goal and attack-minded presence saw him
score 17 goals in a struggling North Leigh side in 2018/19.
A
May 2019 signing for Vanarama National League side Maidenhead United, he re-joined
North Leigh in late October 2019.

“We’re absolutely delighted that Henry has signed on for next season, he showed
great promise last year and scored some vital goals for us. We’re looking
forward to Henry improving and help pushing us on next season.”
Goalkeeper
Jack Harding has also renewed his contract for the 2021/22 campaign.
The
28-year-old originally came through the Banbury youth and reserve sides, making
his first-team debut as a 16-year-old back in April 2009 in a Buckingham
Charity Cup semi-final home first leg game against Bicester Town, keeping a
clean sheet in a 2-0 win.
He
made another 4 first-team appearances for the Puritans over the next few
seasons, all in cup games, before leaving the club in search of regular first
team football.
After
a spell with Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One side Hook Norton he joined
Premier Division side Ardley United for the start of season 2013/14 where over
the course of the next two seasons he established himself as one of the top
keepers in the Hellenic League.
He
returned to Banbury for the start of season 2015/16, playing a key role in that
season’s Division One South & West promotion winning side, missing just one
league game and keeping 20 clean sheets in his 41 league appearances.
He
was then an ever-present in league games for United the following season in
their first season back at Premier Division level and to date has made 244
appearances for the club.

another year. He’s been a great servant to the club and there’s still a lot
more to come from him”.
