They took over in late December 2019 following the resignation of manager Jeff Roberts, who quit three-and-a-half years after he replaced Fisher.

Fisher returned as joint boss alongside former Worthians’ reserve team coach Ross Adams.

Fisher’s return was welcomed by supporters, despite his near four-year absence from the dug-out after over 30 years in management.

He’d begun his second stint as Worthians boss in 2012 and went on to lead them to the semi-finals of the FA Vase in 2015, having won the 2005/06 Hellenic League Premier Division title in his first tenure.

In January, the co-bosses brought in Kevin Maloney to help them.

Maloney was assistant manager to Fisher in his previous spell in charge.
