Rowe, 32, joined Bradford from Oldham Athletic in January and scored 5 goals in 18 appearances for the Bantams.

Speaking to https://chesterfield-fc.co.uk, he said: “Obviously the aim is to get back into the Football League and the set-up here is brilliant.

“I spoke to the manager, and he really wanted me to come. I have come here to play games and enjoy my football. I can’t wait to get going.”

After being at Manchester United as a youngster, Rowe played for Kendal Town and Fleetwood Town before stints at Lincoln City and AFC Fylde, where he spent six years and was a prolific marksman in the National League, before joining Oldham last year.
