Michael Peck has accepted a three-year football scholarship in the United States.

The 20-year-old central defender joined Tiverton Town on a more permanent basis in the summer of 2020 following his departure from League One side Plymouth Argyle, where he began his senior career in 2018.

He spent a month on loan at Dorchester Town in 2019/20 and then joined the Yellows, again on a loan deal, in December 2019 and went on to make 8 appearances for the club.

Meanwhile, forward Jared Lewington (pictured) has informed the club of his decision to leave after receiving an excellent offer from another club.

The 26-year-old re-signed for Tivvy for a third time in July 2020 from National League side Torquay United.

He had returned to Tivvy in June 2019 from new rivals Truro City having made the move to Cornwall in June 2018 after making 23 appearances for the Yellows during the 2017/18 season.

He originally joined Tiverton from Western League side Buckland Athletic in January 2018, having signed for Buckland from South West Peninsula League outfit Bovey Tracey as a raw 19-year-old at the start of the 2013/14 season and quickly established himself as a first choice at the higher level.

They follow another forward, Jordan Bastin, who revealed that he had made the decision to end his time with club earlier in April.

The 2-year-old signed for Tiverton Town July 2019 from cross-town South West Peninsula League neighbours Elmore where he scored an incredible 45 goals in 2018/19 and as a result, he had plenty of sides keen to capture him this summer.

His amazing campaign culminated with winning the supporters`, players` and managers` player of the year award as well as the `golden boot`.

He began his career in the Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle youth set ups before he rose to prominence with Tiverton`s under-18 and reserve sides before moving away in search of first team action.
