Ross
Killock becomes the club's first signing ahead of the next campaign.
The
26-year-old central defender joined league rivals outfit Ramsbottom United in
February 2020 and also dual-registered with North West Counties side Golcar
United the following month.
He
started out coming through the ranks at Leeds United as a youth trainee. During
his time at Leeds he played for Alfreton Town in 2012, making 15 appearances
and Chester in 2013 - 19 appearances. There was one loan appearance for Halifax
in January 2015, before he joined Stockport County in 2016. At the start of the
2016/17 season, he left Leeds to join Chester, but an injury early on meant he
made just 2 appearances.
He
re-joined Stalybridge Celtic for his second spell in May 2019 after leaving at
the end of the 2017/18 season to spend the season with Northern Premier rivals
Scarborough Athletic. He originally joined from Chester in September 2017. |
