Vanarama National league South club Braintree Town have signed wide midfielder Anderson Pinto from Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division side Cheshunt.

The 27-year-old joined the Ambers in October 2020 having been on the books at Southern League Premier Division Central outfit Royston Town and also Combined Counties Leaguers Walton & Hersham.

He left College Europa in Gibraltar in January 2017 and came to England and attended the PU Academy and then signed for Hendon.

A Portuguese national, he had earlier gained experience at Wingate & Finchley, Carshalton Athletic, Dover Athletic and Banbury United as well as for AFC Wimbledon’s reserve side.

He then moved to Gibraltar.
