Molyneux joins from National league North side Guiseley AFC, who he signed for a year ago and made 21 appearances as well as another 10 on loan with Chorley.
Huyton-born Molyneux can play at either left-wing or left-back and began his career with Everton.
Molyneux started with The Toffees in 2000 and after making his way through the club’s youth academy he made his debut for the reserve team at the age of 16 and developed a reputation as a set-piece specialist
He joined Southampton in 2009, where he made his first-team debut and spent time on loan with Port Vale before being released from his contract in the summer of 2010.
He then turned out nine times for Plymouth Argyle before leaving Home Park in January 2011.
In August 2012 he signed for Accrington Stanley and then joined Crewe Alexandra in July 2013.
Molyneux later joined Rochdale on loan in November 2013 and re-joined Accrington Stanley on loan.
He then signed for Tranmere Rovers in January 2015 and moved on to Morecambe four months later.
He made over 150 League appearances and also represented England at uinder-16,17 and under-18 level. |
