The attacking midfielder played for Mildenhall Town in the Bostik North last season and switched to Bostik Premier side Lowestoft Town earlier this summer, but due to circumstances, that move has not gone through.

Chambers-Shaw played in both of Bury`s pre-season friendlies against Colchester United under-23's and Hadleigh United this week and put in two impressive performances.

Prior to joining Mildenhall this time last season where he made 35 appearances and scored 7 times, Chambers-Shaw was with Cambridge United and Histon.

Manager Ben Chenery told http://www.burytownfc.co.uk: "I am delighted that Jake has agreed to join us.

“When we learned that his move to Lowestoft was not taking place we were keen to seen him in action, and he had shown his quality in the last two games he has played for us. He is an attacking midfielder that will create goals and also is great at set pieces and I know that his skill and work rate will be something our fans will appreciate. He has the ability to create goals and score them himself which is something we need in our side. We have been speaking this week and I am pleased he has decided to join us. He obviously knows the other ex-Mildenhall lads in our new-look squad so that will help him settle in.

"We have added some quality players to our existing squad this season and I am looking forward to the season ahead".
