Birch Becomes a Pitman

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Hednesford Town have signed tenacious Droitwich-based central midfielder Brad Birch.

The 30-year-old, who likes to get forward, began his career in the youth ranks at Worcester City went on to see service with Westfields, Bromyard Town and Littleton in the Midland League

He originally signed for Southern Premier Division Central club Stourbridge in July 2016 after impressing in the pre-season build-up.

After one full season with the Glassboys he moved on to Worcester City in the summer of 2017 where he captained their side.

He re-joined Stourbridge on a dual registration basis in March 2018 before committing to the Glassboys fully in 2018/19.

He moved to rivals Bromsgrove Sporting in December 2020.
