Midfielder
Sam Wedgbury follows goalkeeper Grant Shenton and defender Connor O`Grady in
making the switch from Silverlands.
The
32-year-old signed for the Bucks in the summer of 2020 from Vanarama National
League side Chesterfield.
He
had joined the Spireites in May 2018 from rivals Wrexham.
Brought
in from Forest Green Rovers by then-Wrexham boss Dean Keates the previous
summer, he played a key role as the Dragons challenged for promotion and penned
a new deal in February 2018 to keep him at The Racecourse for the 2018/19
campaign. But he said the commute for training from his Sheffield home had
become a burden and the club agreed for him to move on.
He
started his career at Worcester City and has also played for Macclesfield Town,
Stevenage and Sheffield United. |
