The 33-year-old returns from league rivals Buxton, where he had been since June 2020.

He spent the early stages of his career at his home-town club Rotherham United, where his impressive performances saw the likes of Tottenham Hotspur take an interest.

A long-term injury set back his career, but he went on to feature for eight clubs after leaving The Millers in 2011, including Alfreton Town, Guiseley, Southport, Stalybridge, North Ferriby United, Forest Green Rovers and Gainsborough Trinity.

He joined Spennymoor Town from fellow National League North side Boston United in July 2018.
