Charles Returns to The Blues

Midfielder Ryan Charles has re-joined Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division club Bishop`s Stortford.

The 31-year-old came through the ranks at Ipswich Town, moving to Needham Market in 2011 before joining Witham Town in 2014.

He had a brief spell with Stanway Rovers before returning to Witham where he played in 2016/17, making 41 appearances and scoring 9 goals.

He originally joined Stortford from Canvey Island in the summer of 2018.

He is a skilful wide-man capable of scoring spectacular goals from distance. He netted his first Blues goal in their 3-1 home victory over Carshalton Athletic in September.

He switched to Isthmian North outfit Maldon & Tiptree in late December 2019 and then moved up to the Vanarama National League South with Concord Rangers in July 2020.
