Cables made an approach for Bamba last season, but the timing of the deal didn’t really work out for player or club.

Admired by manager, Craig Davies, Bamba is an experienced, versatile defender who leads by example on and off the pitch.

Bamba, who can play both left back and centre-back, numbers Squires Gate, where he had five spells, AFC Darwen, Kendal Town and Clitheroe amongst his previous clubs.

Davies told https://www.prescotcablesafc.com: “Seydou is somebody I’ve admired since I was appointed as the manager. He’s another leader, he is ambitious and has great quality long with his experience. We made an attempt to sign him last season, but it wasn’t the right time for Seydou to come over. We are delighted he’s decided to agree to come over and we can’t wait to have him as part of our dressing room”.
