....made another impressive signing in their efforts to gain promotion to the top of the non-League Pyramid.
The ambitious Essex outfit have snapped up striker Adam Coombes, who has been prolific in the National League South with a record of 41 goals in 43 appearances.
The 27-year-old joins from new league rivals Welling United for an undisclosed fee.
Coombes returned to Park View Road in March 2018 from National League side Sutton United in a permanent deal on an eighteen-month contract.
Coombes hit the headlines in 2016/17 when scoring over 30 goals for the Wings in less than a season, including a double hat-trick in the Emirates FA Cup which featured a strike that appeared in the BBC`s FA Cup goal of the season competition.
Coombes started his career with Chelsea and earned England Youth honours whilst at Stamford Bridge.
He had spells with Notts County and Bromley before joining Welling for the first tome in August 2016. |
