Talented and pacey attacker Andy
Fennell (pictured) has joined the Marketmen from Vanarama National League South side
Chelmsford City.
The 22-year-old re-joined Chelmsford in
June 2019 from Thurlow Nunn League Division One South outfit Coggeshall United
after making 52 appearances, scoring 33 goals in all competitions in the
2018/19 season.
He has previously featured Heybridge
Swifts and was also a part of Chelmsford youth set-up with the under-11's all
the way up to the under-18's and was a part of the Clarets reserve team.
Joining from league rivals Leiston is
defender Kyle Hammond.
The 25-year-old had been at the LTAA
since May 2017.
Ipswich-born, he came through the ranks
at his home-town club before being released by then-manager Mick McCarthy at
the end of the 2015/16 season, having failed to make a senior appearance – his
time at Portman Road being blighted by two serious knee injuries.
He had a spell with Maldon &
Tiptree before joining Leiston. |
