Midfielder Joe Tumelty arrives from
Southern Division One South side Larkhall Athletic.
The 26-year-old had re-joined the Larks
in January 2020 from league rivals Bristol Manor Farm - the wide player`s third
spell at the SecuritasUK Stadium.
He first came the fore with Chippenham
Town, making 15 appearances, before leaving for Cinderford Town in 2013.
A year later came his first stint with
the Larks when he scored 17 goals in 2014/15, earning him a move to
then-Southern Premier Division South outfit Frome Town in the summer of 2015.
A brief spell with Hereford FC preceded
a second stint at Larkhall, for whom he scored 31 goals in two seasons.
He played for Evesham United in 2018/19
before joining Manor Farm in the summer of 2019 where he has made 23
appearances, netting 8 goals.
Manager Paul Michael told his club`s
website: "Joe’s a player I’ve admired for some time. He’s technically
excellent, the type of player that suits perfectly the way we want to play as
he can receive in tight spaces and has excellent awareness of what’s going on
around him. Joe’s also got an excellent delivery of a dead ball and I believe
he will score and create goals for us next season from an attacking midfield
position.
“The season can’t come quick enough now,
and I know the supporters will enjoy seeing Joe out there in a Bluebells jersey."
Meanwhile, Michael has announced that
goalkeeper Andrew Hannah has re-signed for the new campaign ahead.
A commanding goalkeeper with
outstanding distribution, he arrived at Yate in August 2020 from Southern
Division One South club Cinderford Town.
He had signed for the Foresters in the
summer of 2019 after a spell with Evesham United.
He also played National League South
for Gloucester City and also has experience at Paulton Rovers and Mangotsfield
United since arriving in the area to study at Hartpury University following his
release from Plymouth Argyle.
