McDonald Wins The Race For Cobourne

A regular on the scoresheet for the Yeltz, the 25-year-old moved to The Grove from Midland League Premier Division side Romulus in early November 2019.

He had scored 18 goals in 15 games for Roms prior to his move and boasted an impressive record of over 140 goals in his last 90 appearances.

He joined Roms in the summer from league rivals Heather St Johns and was previously with Coleshill Town and Redditch United.

McDonald told his club`s website: “I am really excited to get this one over the line.

“I have tried to sign him on numerous occasions in the past and I can’t wait to start working with him here.

“He will add so much to our attacking options; he is the calibre of player that we want at this football club.

“The lad has got pace to burn, and I don’t think that there will be many quicker than him in this League. He’s also a natural finisher who works hard for the team and comes here off the back of a really good spell at Halesowen Town.

“This signing gives us a major boost for the season ahead”.
