Smith Makes Poppies Move

Vanarama National League North club Kettering Town have signed defender Chris Smith from National League side King`s Lynn Town.

The 23-year-old joined the Linnets in July 2019.

He signed for his home-town side Ipswich Town in 2006 and progressed through the Tractor Boys' academy to make his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace in August 2017.

He then joined Chelmsford City on loan in September 2017 and made 31 appearances across two spells either side of a brief return to Portman Road during an injury crisis in the January.

He then made the switch to Aldershot Town on loan in 2018/19, playing 5 times.
