Having already added Jordan NGalo and Ade Olumuyiwa - both from Vanarama National League side Weymouth - to their squad, Pitching In Southern League Division One South club AFC Totton have now brought in experienced defender Ben Jefford.

The 26-year-old is a highly rated left-back who joined the Stags former league rivals, Basingstoke Town, in early October 2020 from National League South outfit Oxford City.

 

He started out at Reading and the had spells with Basingstoke, Port Vale and Sutton United and has plenty of experience at National League level, playing a part in the Forest Green Rovers side that earned promotion to the Football League in 2016/17 before re-joining Welling United for a second stint in July 2017.

 

He had signed for Oxford in the summer of 2018 from the Wings.
