Two New Scholars

Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division club Potters Bar Town have announced the signing of goalkeeper Hafed Al-Droubi and midfielder Charlie Edwards.

Al-Droubi(pictured) , 26, moves to the Scholars from Isthmian South Central side Northwood.

He had signed for Woods in the summer of 2020 from Beaconsfield Town.

He had been with Southern Premier South outfit Harrow Borough since June 2018, making over 50 appearances after arriving from Chesham United.

He previously played for Fulham as a youth, Luton Town as a professional, Hillingdon Borough, Banbury United, Turkish side Besiktas under-19s, Manchester 62 from Gibraltar, Chalfont St Peter, East Grinstead Town and Sutton United. He joined Beaconsfield in January 2020.

Edwards joins Potters Bar from Isthmian Premier rivals Wingate & Finchley.

He joined the Blues in September 2020 from former Isthmian South Central outfit Waltham Abbey (now members of the Southern League Division One Central) where he had been since 2018 and quickly established himself as a reliable and flexible performer.

He has previous experience with Hertford Town and Harlow Town.
