First
to put pen-to-paper for the Blues is two-time Wembley goalscorer Liam
Ferdinand.
The
27-year-old joins the Met from league rivals Harrow Borough but was on dual
registration with then-Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division and now Isthmian
League South Central side Binfield last season and played a part in the
Berkshire outfit reaching the Buildbase FA Vase Final in May against North West
Counties Leaguers Warrington Rylands.
And
although the Moles lost a thriller 3-2, it was Ferdinand who bagged both of
their goals on the hallowed turf.
Ferdinand (pictured) joined Harrow in the summer of 2020 from Vanarama National League South side
Hungerford Town.
He
had been with the Crusaders since July 2019 after arriving from Isthmian South Central
outfit Bracknell Town.
He
ended the 2018/19 season as top scorer in the division with 32 goals having
re-joined the Robins in the summer of 2018 from Thatcham Town.
He
was previously with Marlow and Binfield and represented the FA in an ambassadorial
visit to the Falkland Islands in November 2018.
Macpherson
has also snapped up highly rated young centre-back Charlie Wickham from
National League side Boreham Wood.
Wickham,
who made his National League debut last year, is a 20-year-old who came up
through Wood`s own ranks and has represented England Colleges.
