Dan Crane, James Bowen, Ben George and Robbie Thompson Brown have all joined the Mikes from higher-level clubs.

Vastly experienced 37-year-old goalkeeper Crane arrives from Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands new boys Bedworth United, who he had re-joined in late August 2019.

He was a key member of the Greenbacks promotion-winning team in 2017 and reached the play-off semi-finals again with Alvechurch in 2018/19.

He returned to the Oval after a short spell as player/assistant-manager at Midland League side Gresley FC.

He started his career at West Bromwich Albion before moving on at 19 to find first team football.

He played for two years at Burton Albion under Nigel Clough, which then earned him a move back to the Football League with now-defunct Rushden & Diamonds.

At 23, he started to forge a career in non-League football, playing for clubs such as Hednesford Town, Solihull Moors and Brackley Town.

He made 350 appearances at Hednesford being involved in four play-off campaigns before going on to win promotion with Bedworth.

Bowen is a 25-year-old defender who arrives at Boldmere from Bedworth`s league rivals Halesowen Town.

He joined the Yeltz in May 2019 from Redditch United, having made the move to the Reds in February 2019 from Vanarama National League North outfit Leamington.

He had signed for the Brakes in the summer of 2018, having finished the previous season with Hereford FC.

Having started the season with the Bulls, he was snapped up by Solihull Moors in October 2017, but a managerial change eventually saw him return to Edgar Street to help them to the Southern League title.

He began his career at Cheltenham Town, making several first-team appearances before loan spells at Bishops Cleeve, Evesham United, Gloucester City and Hereford.

After his release from Cheltenham, he spent a season at Stafford Rangers in the Northern Premier League.

George is another defender who makes the relatively short trip from another NPL Division One Midlands outfit, Sutton Coldfield Town.

He had signed for the Royals from league rivals Stamford AFC on a permanent basis in 2018.

The 27-year-old is an experienced full-back having started his career at Walsall and had spells at Stourbridge, Chasetown, Rugby Town and Leamington before joining Stamford.

Well-travelled wide midfielder Thompson-Brown (pictured) moves to the Mikes from NPL Premier Division outfit Stafford Rangers.

The 28-year-old had re-joined Stafford in September 2019 from Bromsgrove Sporting, for whom he had joined for an undisclosed fee from Southern Premier Central rivals Stourbridge.

He had joined the Glassboys a year earlier having started out in the youth system at Kidderminster Harriers.

He then spent time with Redditch United and Stratford Town before returning to the Aggborough fold.

He moved on to Nuneaton Borough for the 2012/13 season and had spells out on loan with Daventry Town and Leamington.

He signed for Hednesford Town in August 2013 and enjoyed one season at Keys Park before joining Halesowen Town in July 2014.

A move to Stratford followed in February 2015 where he helped to win promotion from the Southern South & West Division via the play-offs before he joined Redditch United in December 2015.

He signed for Leamington in the summer of 2016, and he spent one-and-a-half years with the Brakes, scoring from the spot in their Southern Premier play-off final victory over Hitchin Town in May 2017 that took the club back to the National League North and also in their Birmingham Senior Cup final win on penalties over Wolves.

He netted 6 times in 22 appearances for Leamington before joining Stafford for the first time in December 2017 and subsequently helped them to lift the Staffordshire Senior Cup in April 2018.

In addition, former Walsall scholar Alex McSkeane has signed first team forms, having progressed through the club`s college and under 21-teams.
