Two
new forwards have been signed in former Northampton Town, Thrapston Town and
Rothwell Corinthians man Dodzi
Agbenu and prolific marksman Nat Ansu from rivals Cogenhoe United.
Ansu (pictured signing) scored 13 goals in 14 games for the Cooks last season before lockdown and 13
goals in 10 games in 2019/20.
Ansu
also numbers Desborough Town, Sileby Rangers and Wellingborough Town amongst
his other former clubs.
Another
forward, Sam Hollis, has joined Harborough.
Hollis
has had spells with St Andrews, Barwell, Quorn and Stamford AFC.
He
returned to Southern Premier Central club Barwell in 2017 and spent time out on
loan at United Counties League sides Deeping Rangers and Oadby Town.
Defender
Ben Jackson has also signed from Northern Premier League Division One Midlands
newcomers Daventry Town.
The
24-year-old former Northampton Town youngster was released by the Cobblers at
the end of 2014/15 season and joined Rugby Town where a serious injury put him
out of the game for a while.
A
move to the north at the start of the 2018/19 season saw the defender sign for
Northern Premier Division One West side Widnes.
Having
settled back in the Northampton area a few months later, he grabbed the
opportunity to rejuvenate his football career with Southern Premier Central
club St Ives Town.
He
moved to Daventry in October 2020. |
