The 19-year-old, who has been on trial with the Ravens this pre-season, has impressed with his pace and trickery having featured in all of the club’s pre-season fixtures so far.

Meekums is comfortable on either wing and can also play as a forward, offering versatility across Neil Smith’s front line.

He started out at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he featured in the under-18s in the 2016/17 season, before moving onto the under-23s for the 2017/18 campaign, where he was part of the Premier League Two Division 2 title-winning side.

Meekums also enjoyed a loan spell at Worthing, where his goals and performances saw many clubs take an interest.

Manager Neil Smith told http://www.bromleyfc.tv/site: “Reece came in to train with us towards the end of last season and then again in pre-season. He’s been fantastic so far and is scoring very highly in our fitness tests. He’s pacey and has a few tricks up his sleeve as well, so I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to the squad.”

Meekums was also pleased to secure a contract with the Ravens, having enjoyed pre-season so far: “It feels good to get it over the line. I’ve been training with the Club for a few weeks now and all of the players and staff have been brilliant and very welcoming. It’s time to kick on now!”
