Stacey (pictured),
24, is a wing-back or wide midfielder who began his career with Rotherham and
had experience with Sheffield FC at under-21 and first team level.
He
then embarked on a four-year spell in the USA in Virginia, where he studied and
played football under a scholarship programme at Bluefield College.
Before
returning to England, he spent almost three months playing for USL2 side Dalton
Red Wolves in Tennessee.
Upon
his return to England, he signed for Toolstation Northern Counties East
Leaguers AFC Mansfield in October 2019 and then joined Vanarama National League
North outfit Alfreton Town in October 2020.
Stacey
follows Frickley`s other recent recruits in midfielders Ethan Kenny, who was
released by the Millers at the end of last season, and Reiss Harrison, who
arrives from National League North side York City, having previously been with
Rotherham and Sheffield United as a youngster. |
