Dagnall (pictured) re-unites with former Yeovil Town team-mate Carl Dickenson at the ex-North West Counties League outfit.

Dickenson, 34, took over as player-manager recently.

The vastly experienced defender joined Vanarama National League club Yeovil in the summer of 2018 from then-League Two rivals Notts County.

Able to operate at left-back or in the middle of defence, he graduated through Stoke City's academy before going on to help the Potters earn promotion to the Premier League in 2008.

After representing the Staffordshire outfit in the top-flight of English football, he enjoyed loan spells with Leeds United, Barnsley and Portsmouth before earning a move to Watford in 2011 for a fee in the region of £250,000.

Spells with Port Vale and the Magpies followed before arriving in Somerset.

Dagnall, 35, is a striker who signed for Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ashton United in October 2020 from Yeovil, where he had been since October 2019, before returning to the Glovers in late November 2020.

He has a wealth of experience alongside a history of consistent goalscoring.

Previously with Tranmere Rovers, he was part of the side that won promotion from League Two via the play-offs in 2018/19.

In a total of 491 League appearances spanning from 2003 to 2019, the forward bagged 121 goals.

He began his career at Tranmere in 2003, but it was his time at Rochdale that proves a real highlight.

In his four years at Spotland, he proved to be a reliable talisman, netting on 57 occasions.

Following his time at Rochdale, he enjoyed successful spells at a number of clubs, including Indian Premier League side Kerela Blasters, Scottish outfit Hibernian, Bury and, most notably, Leyton Orient and Crewe Alexandra where he bagged 44 goals in 144 appearances.

Hanley have also signed Ryan Campbell-Gordon.

Campbell-Gordon, who was recently with League Two outfit Port Vale before being released, has signed a contract at the club which shall commence on the 1st July.
