Joining
`Marine are midfielders Frankie Artus and Lewis Hall and forward Pablo Haysham.
Artus
is an experienced 32-year-old who joins `Marine from Vanarama National League
South side Bath City.
He
began his career with Bristol City, signing his first professional contract in
2006.
Although
he was named as substitute on several occasions, he did not make a first-team
appearance for the Robins, spending loan spells with Exeter City, Brentford,
Kettering Town, Cheltenham Town and Chesterfield.
In
July 2010 he joined Cheltenham permanently, signing a one-year contract.
He
moved on to Grimsby Town 12 months later, where he made over 50 appearances
during two years at Blundell Park, including the FA Trophy Final at Wembley in
2013.
He
was released at the end of that campaign and moved on to Hereford United and
was a regular in the Bulls midfield but left after the club was relegated to
the Southern League due to financial problems, arriving at Bath in June 2014.
He
made almost 200 appearances for the Romans, scoring 11 goals.
Hall,
25, switches from league rivals Weston-super-Mare.
He
had signed for the Seagulls in March 2020 from another league rival, Taunton
Town.
He
had been with the Peacocks since October 2018 after arriving from National
League North side Hereford FC.
A
versatile left-sided player, he is a product of the Bristol City academy and
played for Gloucester City for three-and-a-half years before joining Hereford
in the summer of 2018.
Haysham (pictured) is an experienced forward or attacking midfielder who arrives at The Webbswood
Stadium from Southern Premier Division Central outfit Banbury United.
The
29-year-old joined the Puritans in June 2019.
He
was originally with Oxford City and was a regular in their Hellenic League
Oxford City Nomads side, as well as making a few first-team appearances for
them, prior to joining Didcot Town in the summer of 2012.
In
three seasons with the Railwaymen, Spanish-born player scored 36 goals from 120
appearances, attracting the attention of phoenix club Hereford, who he then
joined in the summer of 2015.
At
Edgar Street he was part of the side that won three successive league
championships as the Bulls quickly moved up through the non-League Pyramid,
scoring 52 goals for them in 142 appearances.
With
the additional travelling looming in National League North, should he had
stayed at Hereford, he opted to leave them in the summer of 2018 and signed for
Supermarine`s league rivals Salisbury.
However,
after scoring 5 goals from 30 appearances he then found playing opportunities
limited with the Whites and returned in February 2019 to Didcot on loan until
the end of the season.
These
three new signings were amongst a number of the returning squad who also put
pen-to-paper.
Midfielders
Brad Hooper, Henry Spalding, Jack Stanley and Rhys Wells, defenders Pierce
Mitchell, Louis Spalding and veteran Matt Coupe have all committed to `Marine
for 2021/22.
With
the following eight players currently under contract until May 2022, Martin
Horsell, Jamie Edge, Ryan Campbell, Conor McDonagh, Harry Williams, Mat
Liddiard, Zack Kotwica and David Pratt the squad is already looking strong
ahead of the 2021/22 season.
