....Evans Kouassi, who was playing two levels higher last season with Vanarama
National League South side Wealdstone.
The 28-year-old
arrived at Grosvenor Vale in December 2017 with plenty of experience in the
Step 2 division having pulled on the colours of Bishop’s Stortford, Hayes &
Yeading United, Chelmsford City and Concord Rangers in the past.
Kouassi began his
career in the academy set-up at Leyton Orient where he was released without
making an appearance for the first-team.
Picked up by Waltham
Forest, the Cypriot forward of Ivory Coast descent went on to sign for
Peterborough United before later spells at Potters Bar Town and Billericay Town.
Kouassi joins Swifts
following an impressive two weeks within the squad.
Swifts have also
signed Jey Siva.
Siva is a Danish defender
who plays at left-back.
His most recent club
was Harlow Town, who he joined in October 2017.
He was a member of
the Isthmian Premier Division title-winning Wealdstone side of 2013/14, and he
has also featured for Tonbridge Angels, Enfield Town, Grays Athletic – where he
played under Swifts boss Jody Brown - Leatherhead and Cray Wanderers. |
