Eighteen-year-old Wilson spent last season with Rushden & Higham United in the United Counties League Division One and hit 35 goals in 40 games in his first season of men’s football.

Prior to that he spent over three years in the under-18s at Wellingborough Town where he finished top scorer in every campaign.

He was also with the sadly now defunct Rushden & Diamonds as a youngster and had a short spell with Sileby Rangers in the UCL Premier Division.

Due to his goal record last season, Wilson had a plethora of clubs after his signature, but has impressed during pre-season with St Ives, hitting both goals in the club`s first two pre-season fixtures against Soham Town Rangers and Peterborough Sports in 45-minute appearances.

The youngster has a bright future ahead of him and both manager Ricky Marheineke and assistant-manager Craig Adams are delighted to have him on board.
